summary of the novel

The day after the publication of a catalogue including all the net-movements, MacEwan is contacted on his computer via e-mail by a group called Cybersphynx (this is a very surprising coincidence, because it's more or less what happens to JD Flora, but the stories where developed separately, in different countries and different times...).

MacEwan did not believe to the existence of this group, so he gave up with researches before publishing his study. Now the group defy him with some enigmatic messages referred to Rome.

MacEwan has to go to Rome for real-lecture (there is a group of old and conservative people belonging to an Association of Artists who doesn't like the idea of a virtual lecture). So he decides to investigate about Cybersphynx, trying to disclose the meaning of the messages.
With the help of Lieutenant Kaija Hämäläinen -who he met during a military campaign in Finland and who now is his assistant- he discovers in a nocturne Rome a world of magic, mystery and computers.
MacEwan also meets Ludovica, an enigmatic and fascinating dark girl: friend or foe?

An incredible and ancient project is connected with some famous monuments in Rome, with the (perhaps insane) aim of the advent of a new world.
New, yes: but better or worse?

You can read chapter one of this novel in Italian.

Soundtrack

You can listen to an ideal soundtrack of Cybersphynx.
You will not download just a sound but one minute of music. All the sources were digital but are compressed at the (hopefully) best quality-lenght proportion to obtain not too huge still enjoyable files.

From my own sound project "Phonometria", please enjoy "Maelstrom" (250k aiff, 1min09secs, 22Khz 1/6)

Ludovica could remind you Siouxsie Sioux...
MacEwan meets Kaija Hämälainen in Finland.
