Giuseppe Iannicelli's Biography
I was born in Alessandria, Italia, 1960.
I'm a writer and I had many different experiences, as a journalist, as a TV script writer and so on.
In 1990 I issued a booklet called "Gesta ed Opinioni del dottor Trinitrohn, Antientropico", a surreal text in the mood of "Gulliver" and "Faustroll". This book was very appreciated by the "pataphisicians", Enrico Baj and Vincenzo Accame.
I published on Neural (an Italian "avantgarde" magazine) a series of humour short stories under the title "Welcome to Cyberdarkness":
in 2113 a hacker named Rupert lives in an underground city (Cyberdarkness) with his funny and cute computer Michaelcaine, a Mackintosh-Annurca model (half american, half neapolitan) with arms and legs. (Firts episode of Cyberdakness in Italian)
I also participated in some sound and musical projects, as Klange, which produced a CD ("The Heart/Hertz Files", MHCD0021, Minus Habens Records, Bari, Italy - email: i.iusco@agora.stm.it) where I was the designer of the cover too.
Now I work to a sound project of my own called Phonometria (please enjoy Maelstrom, 250K aiff, 22Khz, 1/6). The complete version of Maelstrom can be found in the CD "SubElettronica Chapter 1" also by Minus Habens/Betaform.
I had many activities involving images too: videos, photos, graphics, mail-art : in this fields I used to sign as JJ & Co. Communication Ent..
JJ & Co.Communication Ent. operated from 1983 to 1994, in 1994 it became JJ & Co. CyberdarkComm Ent.
In late May 1995 I begun to cooperate in some ways to the interesting project "The Logs of JD Flora", as I found very surprising the coincidence that the main character there, JD Flora,
is contacted on his computer by a mysterious "Sfynx",
right as it happens to MacEwan in "Cybersphynx".
So I wrote a short story right for the JD saga (The Stone Head),
I have JD in some MacEwan's adventures and the Author of JD Flora is using some characters of mine in his work.
My activities went on since 1995 to previous days mainly working, but also writing and shooting videos.
In 1998 I realized my experimental video VALGE DAAM, following the principles of "anientropy".
In 1999 I worked on the project IL CASO VALDEMAR, from a short story by Poe.
Today I'm mainly intrigued by the Bard, and I'm trying to shoot the first short film from Shakespeare: "The Scottish Play".
It's a part of the GLOBULAR PROJECT, and... well, who knows...
