Phonometrìa is a sound project.

The name comes from a writing of the French composer Erik Satie, titled "Who I am". The meaning of the word "Phonometrìa" is "science of measuring sounds", and this describes better than any other word the aims of the project. As I'm not a musician, I can only be a "phonometreur", a person who measures and studies sounds with his computers and other electronic instruments...

In this anthology by Betaform, a division of Minus Habens Records, is included the track MAELSTROM by Phonometrìa.

ALCHEMIA COSMICA

This is the next step for Phonometrìa.

Some tracks are realized using mainly sounds obtained by conversion of pictures from the space, stellar maps, ancient drawings related to astronomy.

The sounds are elaborated, cut, assembled and played together.

Sometimes sequences of notes are added with synthesizers. The sequences in ancient cultures and in the mystic and alchemical traditions represent the planets, the sun ,the moon, the stars..

ALCHEMIA COSMICA is strongly inspired by Alchemical theories.
