Lorenzo MacEwan is a professor of "Sociology of the network", but first of all he is a kind of informatic detective: a "netective".
This Character, created in 1994 by Giuseppe Iannicelli, operates in a period around 2015-2020. He travels all over the world to investigate strange cases, including netsurfing disasters, ghost hauntings, and mysterious aims of dangerous Net-sects.
